Born to Joseph and Levi Ang and as the eldest of four siblings—Carl, Michelle, and JR—she grew up with a strong sense of accountability. Over the years, she has traveled extensively, gaining exposure to world-class event standards and practices. These experiences shaped her perspective, but more importantly, reinforced a principle she would carry into her professional life: that meaningful work is built on consistency, not momentary success.
That principle would later define her leadership at Worldbex Services International (WSI).

For Ang, this is the essence of leadership.
"You do not build for the moment,” she says. “You build so that it lasts.”

She does not position leadership as a title to be claimed, but as a responsibility to be carried.
Her advice to future leaders reflects the same clarity.
“Every moment is an opportunity. Do not wait for the perfect moment. There is none. Learn to stand on your own, do the work, and stay consistent. If you can carry the responsibility, the opportunity will follow.”

This year’s theme, “Building Opportunities, Sustaining Lives,” highlights the event’s commitment to fostering collaboration, advancing innovation, and supporting sustainable growth within the industry.

Simultaneous opening ceremonies were held at the Main Lobby of the World Trade Center Metro Manila and the 2nd Floor Lobby Space of the SMX Convention Center Manila. The ceremonies featured the traditional ribbon-cutting, symbolizing the official opening of WORLDBEX 2026.
The ceremonies were hosted by TV host and personality Apple Grace. In his welcome remarks, Mr. Joseph L. Ang, Founding Chairman of organizing company <a href="http://www.worldbexevents.com" target="_blank">Worldbex Services International (WSI)</a>, expressed his appreciation to the event’s partners, exhibitors, and stakeholders for their continued support in making WORLDBEX a leading industry platform. Mr. Ang also adds that WORLDBEX has, over the past 29 years, “brought together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from across the globe, creating meaningful connections and showcasing the groundbreaking innovations that continue to shape our industry”.
Distinguished guests and VIPs present during the opening ceremonies were given the opportunity to deliver their welcoming speeches, including Hon. Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, City Mayor of Pasay (represented by Chief of Staff Peter Pardo), and Hon. Secretary Cristina Aldeguer-Roque, Secretary of the Department of Tourism (represented by Ms. Myra Paz Valderrosa Abubakar, Undersecretary for the Office of Halal Tourism and Muslim Concerns). 
WORLDBEX is also grateful to Hon. House Speaker Faustino “Bodjie” G. Dy III of the House of Representatives, District Representative of Isabela’s 6th District (represented by Hon. Ferdinand L. WORLDBEX 2026 Officially Opens, Showcasing Innovation by Building Opportunities and Sustaining Lives

Indonesia on Wednesday handed over nearly 400,000 hectares (988,000 acres) of seized palm oil plantations to Agrinas Palma Nusantara, giving the new state company a sizeable land bank that could make it one of the world's biggest oil palm growers.
The plantations were seized by the government's forestry task force because authorities believe they were operating illegally in designated forest areas, said Febrie Adriansyah, a senior official at the Attorney's General Office, who is also a member of the task force.
Agrinas is a fast-growing new palm oil company, formed in January by the administration of President Prabowo Subianto through the restructuring of an infrastructure services firm.
Since March, Agrinas has managed some 221,000 hectares of plantations on behalf of the AGO while the state pursues a money laundering case against its owner, Duta Palma Group.
The rest of the plantations managed by Agrinas were given to the firm by the forestry task force. With the new addition, the total area under Agrinas' care would reach over 833,000 hectares, Febrie said during the handover ceremony.
The 394,547 hectares given to Agrinas on Wednesday were plantations in Central Kalimantan on the island of Borneo, as well as in Riau, North and South Sumatra. They were previously controlled by 232 companies but the government did not name them.
