Record Folding Door FTA 20 FBO

A special feature is the optional “break-out” function (FBO), which allows the Record FTA 20 to be used as an escape door in accordance with local conditions and regulations. Similar to the TOS (Total Opening System) of our automatic sliding doors, the FBO enables the folding door to function as an emergency exit by opening in the direction of escape as quickly as possible.

The FBO folding door was specially developed for use along escape and rescue routes. During normal operation, the door panels fold inward. In an emergency, light pressure on the door panel provides access to escape and rescue routes. This releases the track from its mountings, allowing both the door panels and track to open outward.
