Record Standard Sliding Door TOS 20

With conventional sliding doors, fixed side panels can restrict up to two-thirds of the available passageway. The Record TOS Total Opening System eliminates this limitation by allowing the entire entrance area to be opened, providing maximum accessibility when needed.

The TOS is particularly useful in emergency situations and for moving large or bulky items through the entrance. Common applications include vehicle showrooms, shopping centres, department stores, furniture outlets, and buildings with high pedestrian traffic.

The Record TOS Total Opening System is a linear sliding door solution that allows both the door leaves and side panels to pivot through 90°, regardless of the door’s current position. This pivoting function complements the standard linear sliding movement, making the system particularly suitable for emergency and escape routes.

When fully opened, the pivoting door leaves can be positioned against the wall, providing almost the entire width and height of the passageway for access. With minimal structural modifications, narrow pedestrian entrances can quickly be transformed into wide openings suitable for supply vehicles or large-scale loading operations.

Flush-fitted door leaf rails keep the floor area clear of obstacles, ensuring a clean and accessible passageway. Returning the system to its closed position and normal sliding operation requires only a few simple steps.
